In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.

In the provincial competition for excellent secondary students

Chemistry stood out as the top-performing subject with two first
prizes, five second prizes, four third prizes, and four consolation prizes –
the best-ever result. This achievement was largely attributable to Bui Thi
Phuong, a chemistry teacher at the Tay Phong Primary and Secondary School.
Taking inspiration from President Ho Chi Minh’s values of
self-reliance and lifelong learning, Phuong has applied creative teaching
methods to ignite students’ passion for chemistry. Her 2024 initiative,
"Explaining real-life phenomena to inspire 9th graders in chemistry”, received
district-level recognition for its practical impact.
The education sector in Cao Phong district has continued to
embed President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings through campaigns like "Good Teaching –
Good Learning” and "Each Teacher is a Model of Ethics, Self-learning and
Creativity”. As a result, numerous meaningful and practical activities have
been carried out, and many role models recognised.
Lai Anh Long, head of the education and training office of Cao
Phong district, said these efforts have helped enhance educators’ sense of
responsibility and discipline.
By implementing national directives on the
issue and promoting emulation movements, the district has achieved impressive
results. In particular, in the 2023–2024 academic year, over 98% of students
advanced to the next grades, and dozens of students and teachers received
provincial awards.
