The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
The opening ceremony saw the presence of Permanent Vice Chairman
of the Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Toan; representatives
from the provincial Youth Union, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism,
Hung Vuong Museum in Phu Tho province; and Vinh Phuc province's museum and
library; and local officials and students.

The exhibition also introduces the development of Hoa Binh province under the
leadership of the Party. Visitors to the exhibition can also learn about the
province's outstanding achievements in Party building, socio-economic
development, culture, national defence and security, and foreign affairs.
The exhibition area is divided into two sections. Section 1 features the
Party's 95-year journey, particularly its congresses from 1930 to the present,
and its milestones such as the August Revolution, two great resistance wars and
the renewal and international integration. Section 2 highlights Hoa Binh province’s development under the Party's
leadership.
The thematic exhibition is an activity to welcome Party congresses at all
levels for the 2025-2030 term towards the 14th National Party Congress and
major anniversaries of Vietnam. It is an important political and cultural
activity to promote revolutionary traditions, and arouse national pride and
patriotism, especially among the young generation.
The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its regular monthly meeting on April 23 to review the socio-economic situation in April and the first four months of this year, and to provide feedback on draft documents to be submitted to the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and the provincial People’s Council, along with other matters related to the province’s governance. Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, chaired the event.
Not just a popular destination during holidays and festivals, the Hoa Binh hydropower plant welcomes visitors daily, drawing thousands each year to contemplate and learn about this monumental symbol of national pride. It is estimated that more than 60,000 tourists visit the plant annually.
Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, chaired a meeting of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on April 17 to discuss a number of investment projects and matters related to promoting the province’s socio-economic growth.
