General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Nguyen Phu Trong was presented with the 50-year Party membership badge at a ceremony in Hanoi on January 29.

Commission, bestowed the badge to the Party chief on behalf of the Politburo
and the Secretariat.
He described General Secretary Trong as a bright example for officials and
Party members to follow.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Party leader shared his philosophy of life-long
learning, saying that the best motivation for learning is to become a good
person, not to gain higher positions.
He expressed his gratitude to the Party, State, and people and pledged his
absolute loyalty to the Party’s revolutionary ideology and to follow
President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morals and lifestyle.

Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
