The suspect included staff of the hospital, the minister said on May 29.

The hospital blast took place on May 22, which was the day when the military seized power from the Yingluck government three years ago.

The bomb was hidden in a vase in a room named "Wongsuwan” in honour of Thai Defence Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, injuring 25 people.

There has been no claim of responsibility for the bomb attack

The May 22 incident is the third attack in one month, following a blast outside the Bangkok National Theater on May 14 and another outside the national lottery office in April.-VNA
