(HBO) - The Department of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs of Hoa Binh province and Phu Hung Khang Development Co., Ltd. on April 24 handed over 60 million VND and 50 million VND, respectively, to the provincial Fatherland Front Committee to support COVID-19 prevention and control in the locality.

Previously, the Phu Hung Khang Development Co., Ltd. donated 100 million VND to the Hoa Binh city’s fund for COVID-19 prevention and control. 

Phu Hung Khang Development Co., Ltd. donates 50 million VND to the province’s fund for COVID-19 prevention and control.

In response to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee’s call for all people to support the COVID-19 prevention fund and a fund-raising programme launched by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, as of 3:30 pm on April 24, over 5.44 billion VND (including 2.94 billion in cash and 2.95 billion worth of goods) were raised by the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and authorities of Hoa Binh city and districts. 

At the provincial level, 67 out of 99 agencies and organisations, 35 banks and enterprises and ten individuals donated a total of 1.32 billion VND in cash and 565 million VND worth of goods. 

 Financial and goods donations through the Fatherland Fronts of Hoa Binh city and districts totaled 4.56 billion VND. Hoa Binh city, and the districts of Luong Son and Yen Thuy have mobilised the biggest amounts of money and goods./.

The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held its monthly conference in virtual form on April 2 to review draft documents to be submitted to the standing board of the provincial Party Committee and others under its management along with some other important issues.
