(HBO) – Hoa Binh province has conducted many activities to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947-2023).
On July 21, a delegation led by Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary
of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council,
visited and presented gifts to revolution contributors in Lac Son district.
joining the delegation were leaders of the provincial police,
provincial Youth Union, and Department of Labour- Invalids and Social Affairs,
among others.

present gifts to veteran Bui Van Nghi in An Nghia commune, Lac Son district,
Hoa Binh province.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to veteran Bui Van
Nghia in An Nghia commune; Agent Orange victim Bui Van Phong in Yen Nghiep
commune; widow Bui Thi Don in Vu Ban town.
During the visit, Hinh presented gifts from the provincial Party
Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front
Committee, and expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions by
people with meritorious services to the cause of national liberation and
national defense.
He said he hopes that wounded soldiers, veterans, and relatives
of martyrs will overcome their losses and difficulties, continue to promote the
revolutionary tradition and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, actively
participate in movements and activities held in the locality, and contribute to
building a more beautiful and civilised homeland.
Hinh also requested local authorities to continue to well
implement preferential policies for people with meritorious services while
paying more attention to policy beneficiary families./.

Following the results of the military enlistment examination for 2025, Lac Son district has seen 100 young men and women volunteering to enlist in the military. In 2023, the relic site where President Ho Chi Minh visited the Chi Hoa Production Group in Lam Son commune, Luong Son district of Hoa Binh province, was officially recognised as a provincial-level revolutionary historical site. Each year, it draws numerous visitors from across Vietnam and abroad, becoming a "red address" for educating young generations on the nation's revolutionary traditions.
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.
