Chairman of the Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh on January 19 received a delegation from Inchinoseki city, Japan’s Iwate prefecture, led by Mayor Yoshihito Sato.

At the reception, Sato informed the host about the results of the working session between the Japanese delegation with Hoa Binh city authorities.
He spoke highly of Hoa Binh's development potential, especially young human resources. He emphasised that the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Inchinoseki city and Hoa Binh city is important for them to keep promoting cooperation and friendship between the two localities, as well as between Japan and Vietnam.
For his part, the host told the guests about the province's socio-economic development, emphasising that Hoa Binh province has promoted cooperation with countries, especially in the exports of agricultural products.
He added that relations between the province with Japan have witnessed positive developments.
Khanh expressed his delight to see the two localities sign the MoU on cooperation and believed in the further development of the two sides' friendship following the Japanese delegation’s working trip.
The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.
