Following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Quynh Lam ward of Hoa Binh city has effectively implemented the movement of pioneering and volunteering for the community, joining hands in caring for and educating adolescences and children, which has helped its members and local youngsters to nurture their morality and better their lifestyle, creating a beautiful image of the youth in the new era.


The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Quynh Lam ward of Hoa Binh city carries out the model of "Friday without appointment, writing” to support local residents in administrative procedure processing.


In the more than one month of implementing the model of "Friday without appointments, writing” at the public service request receiving and responding office of Quynh Lam ward, all residents coming to the office have shown their satisfaction to receive the warm welcome and helpful support from officials, public servants and volunteer youth at the office in processing administrative procedures using technological devices. The model was built to meet the demand of local citizens in processing administrative procedures, aiming to enhance the quality and friendly relations between officials and residents.

Bui Van Vi, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Residential Area No.3 of Quynh Lam ward, said that the model has helped local youngsters show their enthusiasm and efforts to follow Uncle Ho’s teachings, thus spreading positive values in the community.

The studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings have been integrated into many effective activities, including those to enhance the youth’s awareness of politics, national tradition, and their revolutionary confidence and sentiments.

Each year, the ward union’s standing board organised two or three courses for local youngsters on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, morality and lifestyle, along with events to popularise the Party and State’s policies and laws. The union has encouraged its members to join online contests to explore the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Meanwhile, local youngsters have also actively engaged in activities to care for poor and policy beneficiary families and those who rendered great services to the nation. Last year, the union in collaboration with other agencies presented gifts and free health check-ups and medicines to policy beneficiaries, wounded and injured war veterans, and former voluntary youth and revolution contributors in the locality, while sponsoring three needy students.

At the same time, the movement to do physical exercise following Uncle Ho’s example has been actively responded by local youngsters, along with art activities.

The ward youth union has coordinated with the union in Da Bac district to organise the Winter Volunteer Programme 2023 and Spring Volunteer Programme 2024, mobilising over 200 workdays for cleaning and collecting household waste, building a green - clean - beautiful environmental landscape, and supporting and guiding people to install and activate electronic identification and process online public services.

Nguyen Thi Quynh, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union of Quynh Lam ward, said that the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle have inspired local youth in emulating for creative working, promoting the vanguard role of the youth, contributing to building a strong youth organisation and implementing socio-economic tasks of the locality.
