(HBO) - The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province has organised a conference to review the culture, sports, tourism and family work in the first half of 2019, and discuss orientations for implementing the work in the second half.
(HBO) - Mai Chau district has just organized the singing festival of the employees and the workers to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2019).

(HBO) - The Public Art Fair of Thinh Lang Ward (Hoa Binh City), which took place in early June 2019, attracted thousands of people to watch and cheer. (HBO) - On June 25, Hoa Binh City People's Committee organized a good mediator contest in 2019. There were 15 teams from commune and ward units participating in the contest.

(HBO) - The artistic nucleus of Dan Hoa commune (Ky Son) is performing at the Program of the Youth Day organized by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the district.
(HBO) - On the evening of June 9, the People's Committee of Thinh Lang Ward (Hoa Binh City) organized the public art show in 2019. Participating in the show there were 31 performances from 9/9 groups with nearly 200 actors. The festival attracted thousands of people in the ward to cheer.
(HBO) - In 2018, the percentage of the families achieving the title of the cultural family in Toan Son commune (Da Bac) accounted for 82%. Five out of the five hamlets were recognized as the cultural villages. The movement of building cultural families has not only preserved the families’ order but it also has linked the families in the village, creating a peaceful village and neighborhood.
(HBO) - Mr. Bui Van Dien, the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Thanh commune says that now Tan Thanh commune has a cultural house and a central stadium, 100% of hamlets have a cultural house, a sports ground, five out of the eleven hamlets have been recognized as the cultural villages and over 81% of households have earned the title of the cultural families.
(HBO) - The Center for Culture and Cinema of the province organized a mobile propaganda to the grassroots level (phase 1) in 2019. Yen Quang commune, Ky Son district was chosen as the starting point of the propaganda.
(HBO) - Chieng Chau was recognised as a traditional craft village at a ceremony held in Chieng Chau commune by the communal People’s Committee on May 28.

(HBO) - Mong ethnic people in Hang Kia and Pa Co communes (Mai Chau) have also been preserving a lot of cultural beauty through their traditional costumes, languages, handicrafts and so on. In which, linen weaving, beeswax drawing, paper making are being preserved and promoted after a long time of gradual extinction. A large number of tourists coming there also want to learn and experience this unique handicraft art.

A culture, sports and tourism festival of ethnic minority groups in Vietnamese and Lao border localities is taking place in A Luoi district, Thua Thien-Hue province.
(HBO) - Mrs. Bui Minh Hong, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Tan Lac district said: In order to preserve ethnic cultural character, communes and towns mobilized Muong women, youth and enthusiasts of Muong culture to establish teams of letters and arts performance for communities and hamlets. As many of 100 photos of Uncle Ho and northwestern ethnic people are on display at an exhibition which opened in Yen Chau district, the northwestern province of Son La, on May 8th.
(HBO) - The People’s Committee of Lac Son district, the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh, has held a ceremony to receive a certificate recognising the festival at Truong Kha temple, in Lien Vu commune, as a provincial cultural and historical relic site, and reenact the festival. The reenactment of the festival aims to satisfy spiritual and cultural demands of local people and contribute to preserving and upholding cultural values of the festival.
