(HBO) - Over the past years, the movement of physical training and sports in Hoa Binh province has achieved many proud achievements. The 7th Sports Congress of Hoa Binh Provincial in 2022 is a major cultural and sports event of the province, it is of great significance, taking place once every 4 years.

(HBO) – The provincial People’s Committee held an opening ceremony for the 7th Hoa Binh Games at Hoa Binh Stadium on September 27.

(HBO) - According to the plan, the opening ceremony of the 7th Provincial Sports Congress in 2022 takes place from 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. on September 22 at the provincial stadium and it is broadcast live on Provincial Radio and Television Station. This is a major cultural and sporting event of the province, and it is of great significance, and it is interested and awaited by a large number of people.

(HBO) - Recently, at the 27th national Championship for the youth terrain & off-road cycling in 2022, Hoa Binh delegation won 1 gold medal, 4 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. To achieve these proud results is thanks to the attention and investment in the right direction of the province; cycling has a young, talented and promising generation; the methodical and training are effective; there are the determination, the efforts and the constant striving of the team of athletes and coaches.

(HBO) - There are 11 official competitions at the 7th Congress of Sports and Physical activities in 2021 in Lac Son District. They include volleyball, football, badminton, marathon, swimming, tug of war, array hitting, traditional wrestling, stick pushing, crossbow shooting and athletics. Notably, the folk games, array hitting of Muong ethnic group has become an official competition in the Congress for the first time.

(HBO) - Muong Chieng is a highland commune of Da Bac district. The socio-economic conditions and people's life are still difficult. However, the movement of physical training and sports of the commune has prospered in recent years, changing both in quantity and quality, creating a ripple effect, attracting a large number of people to participate in regular exercise to improve health, build a healthy lifestyle, repel social evils, and improve the spiritual life of the people.

The events took place successfully with the participation of a large number of athletes and local residents.

(HBO) - Vovinam or Viet Vo Dao is a Vietnamese martial art. Recently, this martial art has developed strongly in the provincial districts and. It is not simply a sport practiced by many people every day, Vovinam also helps to improve health, form the necessary protective skills, forge the way of life, good morals, discipline, strengthen stamina, willpower and improve the mental health of each person.

(HBO) From July 4-14, at the Gymnasium of Military Zone 7, Ho Chi Minh City the National Youth Taekwondo Championship - CJ in 2022 took place. The tournament attracted the participation of nearly 1,000 athletes from 45 units from the provinces, the cities and branches all over the country.

(HBO) - From July 2 to 3, at the Provincial Gymnasium, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Vovinam Championship of Hoa Binh province in 2022. This is a contest in the program of the Congress of Sports and physical activities at the seventh provincial levels in 2022.

(HBO) By the end of May, Tan Lac district had completed organizing the sports congress at the grassroots level ensuring the schedule, focusing on preparing the conditions to be ready for the VII sports congress at the distrcit’s level in August.

(HBO) – Dato Amarjit Singh Gill, Vice President of Asian Cycling Federation, has said that the cycling event at the 31 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) had been successfully organised by Hoa Binh province - the host of the competition. The enthusiasm of the province’s cheering fans has contributed to its success, Gill said.

(HBO) – The final round of the men’s and women’s downhill biking at the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) took place in Dan Chu ward of Hoa Binh city on March 15. The women’s event saw the competition of eight athletes from five countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines). Meanwhile, the men’s event was attended by 10 athletes from five countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines).

(HBO) - Indonesian cyclists won a gold and silver medal in the men’s SEA Games 31 mountain bike cross-country event in Hoa Binh province on May 16. The bronze was won by a rider from the Philippines.

(HBO) - In the morning of May 16th, excellently competing in the Olympic women's cross-country event in the terrain cycling event, Dinh Thi Nhu Quynh - the girl of Muong area in Hoa Binh "opened the door” for the gold medal for Vietnamese cycling team at 31st SEA Games. This is not Quynh's first gold medal in the SEA Games arena, however, it brings the special emotions, because this is Quynh's first gold medal won in the homeland. The joy of victory is more complete and happier when there is the enthusiastic congratulation of the relatives and Hoa Binh's fans.

(HBO) – Vietnamese cyclist Dinh Thi Nhu Quynh won the gold medal in the SEA Games 31 women's mountain biking cross-country Olympic category on May 16 in Hoa Binh province.

(HBO) - The cycling competition at SEA Games 31 has 2 categories: mountain biking and road cycling. Vietnam’s mountain biking team consists of 14 riders, 4 coaches, and a fitness coach. Hoa Binh province is honoured to be home of 3 riders - Dinh Van Linh, Bui Van Nhat, and Bui Van Hieu - and coach Tran Dai Nghia.

(HBO) - On May 7th, in Hoa Binh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the First Open Cycling Championship of Hoa Binh Province in 2022 for the Cup of Connecting Big Arms. Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the representatives of Vietnam Cycling and Sports Motor Union.
