The entrance examination for public high schools has concluded in the province, with the majority of candidates observing that the exam papers closely followed the secondary school curriculum but varied in difficulty level.

Companies and factories across Hoa Binh have conducted various activities to care for trade union members and labourers in the locality during the Workers’ Month in May, encouraging them to work harder and contributing to bringing resolutions of the resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels into life.
After three years of implementation, the Japanese-funded project "Reducing Income- and Health-related Vulnerability of Older Persons” (Project VIE071 ) has shown efficiency in Hoa Binh province, one of its six target localities.
