(HBO) – The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee on May 19 held a teleconference of the steering board for improving the local investment and business climate and the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI).
HBO – As of April 30, Hoa Binh has disbursed 654.4 billion VND (28.35 million USD) of public investment, equivalent to 21 percent of the yearly plan set by the provincial People’s Committee and 17 percent of the goal assigned by the government.

According to data from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of 2020, the local total citrus plantation exceeded 11,500ha, of which the commercial area reached 8,000ha producing over 150,000 tonnes of fruit annually. The vegetable area, meanwhile, surpassed 11,000ha a year, yielding between 140,000 and 160,000 tonnes per year. In addition, the animal husbandry sector developed fruitfully, boasting five main species of livestock, which are favoured in the market. These facts have led to a great requirement for trade promotion, branding, and product advertisement to help Hoa Binh's agricultural products come closer to consumers nationwide and be exported in the future.

(HBO) - The Phu Cuong – Song Da agro-fishery product processing and producing co-operative in Thinh Minh commune in Hoa Binh city on March 22 shipped 20 tonnes of banana with growing-area codes to China. This is the first shipment of the co-operative in this year after COVID-19 broke out.
