Exporting the agricultural product - spreading the wing

(HBO) - Despite experiencing 2 years coping with Covid-19 epidemics, some typical agricultural products of the province has still maintained the positions in the domestic market and they have strongly been reaching out to the world market. Since the beginning of the year, the organizations, the enterprises and the production households in the province have exported the agricultural products of high value to some new markets and the have received more orders. This is a good sign, predicting that the export market of the agricultural product will continue to break out.

Lac Son indigenous chicken breeding model proves effective

(HBO) – A disadvantaged household but thanks to an access to loans, Bui Van Hue's family in Dang 2 hamlet, Quyet Thang commune, Lac Son district started a model of hatching and breeding local chickens that brings about hundreds of millions of VND each year. In 2017, Hue encouraged several other households to form a livestock cooperative and supply chickens. Up to now, the cooperative has 10 members specialised in supplying commercial and breeding chickens to the market, contributing to increasing income and creating jobs for many local workers.

Yen Tan honey - 3-star OCOP product helps people get out of poverty

Lac Son district develops OCOP products based on local advantages

(HBO) – Lac Son district targets to have five products recognised as One Commune –One Product (OCOP) this year besides two products will be re-evaluated. Currently, the district's OCOP products with three stars are Phu Luong forest chili, Luc Nghiep Thanh brocade, Huong Nhuong oranges, vacuum-packed chicken, and "doi” seeds - a local seed to cook with chicken or fish.

The value of the industrial production has reached nearly 10,490 billion VND

(HBO) - In the first quarter of 2023, the index of the industrial production in the province was estimated to increase by 10.67% compared to that of the same period last year. The value of the industrial production was estimated at 10,487.8 billion VND, increasing 9.03% compared to that of the same period last year.

In the first quarter, the export value was estimated at over 361.6 million USD

(HBO) - In the first quarter of 2023, the province’s import and export turnover achieved the positive results. Accordingly, the export value was estimated at over $361.6 million, increasing 7.34% compared to that of the same period last year, equaling 21.34% of the year plan. In which, the group of electronic goods reached 195.6 million USD, increasng 3.76% compared to that of the same period last year; the group of textile and garment goods reached 114 million USD, increasing 11.77% compared to that of the same period last year.

Hoa Binh expands fresh sugarcane export markets

(HBO) – The northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh exported its first batch of more than 17 tonnes of fresh sugarcane to the US- the world most demanding market in late March this year, raising a high hope for a flourish prospect for the sector in penetrating to more foreign markets in the time ahead.
